Answer: All these modalities work by optimizing the body’s capacity to heal. Acupuncture, additionally, tries to unblock the flow of Qi (vital energy) in the body, which, in Traditional Chinese Medicine, is believed to be the primary driver of most pathologies.

Healing depends on several factors, including (but not limited to) the patient’s age, the extent, and the chronicity of pathology (acute vs. chronic). For some patients, one session may be enough; for others, it may be needed for extended periods.

Healing depends on many factors mentioned above, but no single treatment modality, Surgery or Acupuncture, works for everyone. A good rule of thumb is that if you do not see any improvement by the fourth session, these modalities may not be the right option for the condition for which you seek treatment.

At our center, after acupuncture, we usually send home with ear needles, which reduces the need to visit our center frequently. In the first month or two, we typically recommend 2 treatments, after which we like to see our clients about once a month until the disease goes into remission. At this point, treatments can be spaced once every 3-4 months.

Yes. Ear Acupuncture needles are tiny (less than 1 mm long) and barely perceptible. However, if Patients still do not want to try them, we offer stimulation of the relevant ear points with painless microcurrents using FDA-approved devices.

Since there is limited data about the use of Holistic modalities in Pregnancy, we DO NOT treat patients during their Pregnancy. If you are pregnant or actively trying to get pregnant, please take a home pregnancy on the day of your Appointment and notify us if it is positive.

We DO NOT provide Primary care, Urgent or Emergency care, or ancillary services like lab draws. Patients must be established with a Primary Care Provider before starting treatment at our center. If you are facing a medical emergency, please call 911 or visit an ER.

We DO NOT accept any insurance plans. Payment is due at the time of service. We provide patients with a copy of their bill, which they can submit to their insurance companies. The patient must check if their insurance covers acupuncture and other wellness services before seeking treatment. We will not be responsible for any denied claims. We ACCEPT Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Savings Account (FSADEBIT CARD, provided your HSA  and FSA cover Acupuncture. Please check this before making an appointment.

Unfortunately, Medicare DOES NOT cover services provided by our center.
